All My Best Friends are Metalheads...

so yeah, went to the third round of the Breakaway Studios battle of the bands at the Bass Bar on Friday night. most of the bands sucked... except for Sobrusion. they were really, really good. but the bad thing about seeing a metal band is the metalheads. i just want to see the band play, not see guys with hair down to their lower-backs flicking it around and getting it in my face and eyes. i was like dodging peoples hair so it wouldn't get in my face... so annoying. whats with Wagga and metal anyways?

anyways, after dealing with metalheads all night, i get home and turn Rage on and its nothing but metal. although i did see the new Killswitch Engage clip for "The Arms of Sorrow"... it was pretty awesome. watch it here if you want. so after a night of metal, it was 4am so i decided to go to bed as i had work to be at work at 10am... lame.

had to work all day today... 7 hours. had to deal with stupid people who had no idea what they were talking about and would get angry at me for their own idiocy. people suck! except for the people that i like... you guys are cool. Luke was in at work, we chatted for a little bit. probably the most exciting thing that happened at work... yep, thats how boring it gets.

was gonna get an Xbox 360 with Forza 2 and the Wireless Steering Wheel from Harvey Norman today on that interest free crap and max out my credit. but no, they had to be n00bs and not have the Forza 2 pack in stock. and then some n00b, seriously, he had been working there for 2 days, tried selling me a core console... i'm surprised he knew what an Xbox 360 was. so that took up all of my lunch break, was so annoyed... oh well, now i might actually get some TAFE work done... but between work, MSN and Myspace, probably not.

The Good Times are Killing Me...

so yeah, i'm pretty dead. couldn't sleep last night so i decided to put on a movie and try to fall asleep. didn't quite go to plan. anways i pulled out my Pulp Fiction dvd and there was a layer of dust about a half an inch thick...



thats how often i rewatch my dvds... and you know, clean my room. it finished around 5am so i managed to get a few hours sleep before heading to TAFE.

not too much has been happening, started to do some designs for exploit. need to do a couple more then i'll show them to him and let him choose, then i can finally start making the thing.

the safari 3 beta was screwing around with my iMac and kept making MSN crash. it was really annoying me, and annoying the people i was chatting to. so i just uninstalled it and went back to safari 2... not that i even use safari. firefox ftw! way to go Apple.

These Things Take Forever, I Especially Am Slow...

hmm, its been a while, i got lazy. i thought i would start posting again starting from whats been happening since like April.

so yeah, anyways, in the April holidays i went up to AGMF in Toowoomba again, for the third year in a row. Just Like Josiah and E.E.S were playing at the festival, and since im practically in JLJ i decided to go along, again. its seriously the best fun ever... 3 days of music, camping, friends, driving and other crazy randomness... love it. we left at like 5am on the thursday morning to make the 15 hour drive in one day, it was pretty crazy, but we had done it the year before, so it wasn't too bad. except this time we had a 13 seater bus, with 11 people in it, and all of our stuff. like the instruments, amps, bags, tents and other random crap... it was quite packed. the seats in the bus were like the most uncomfortable things ever... my butt was numb like 75% of the whole trip.

umm, its too long ago now to think of any stories or anything... im boring like that. but i do have links to photos.

also it was my 22nd birthday in april. another year older, another year of not knowing what to do. like i have friends who are married, buying houses, have good jobs doing what they want to do and are all successful and what not. but here i am, working a crappy job i don't like, studying at tafe and not having a clear idea on what i want to do with the rest of my life.

anyways, i gots some money for my birthday of various people, so i bought a Nintendo DS and its pretty awesome. takes up a fair amount of my time... along with Guitar Hero.

my friend dylan in the uk has been doing his thing again and did the new Just Like Josiah website. i'm pretty sure he used joomla... i should talk to him about all that stuff since he seems to be in the know.

he'll back in australia in a couple of months... haven't seen him since like January 2006 so it'll be good to see him again.

colour mafia is the design studio that he and his wife meg run. check out their site... its pretty cool. it also uses century gothic, so you know its gonna be good.
